Hello! I am so excited to be teaching Theatre Arts at Athens Middle School for my third year. I am an Athens native, and this classroom is the very classroom where I fell in love with theatre when I was in middle school.
I graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.A. in Theatre, and obtained my teaching certification. After a year of working with Irving ISD as a substitute, I was lucky to land my dream to work in my hometown. I am thrilled to be back where it all started. I look forward to many wonderful years with AMS!
I am also the director for the after school shows including U.I.L. One Act Play. This year, I am coaching U.I.L. Modern Oratory and Impromptu Speaking.
Theatre is my absolute passion and I love to be able to come to a place every day where I am able to share that with so many young minds.
